目前快速成型技術主要多用于工業(yè),而國內部分企業(yè)也已經(jīng)開始跟進這樣的技術,提供的快速成型服務,各企業(yè)通過為各行業(yè)提供高質量的快速成型技術,國內快速成型行業(yè)的發(fā)展。然而快速成型作為一種正在成熟的制造技術,已經(jīng)成功的實現(xiàn)了快速原型制造,正向快速制造方向迅速發(fā)展。

目前采用快速成型制造技術的快速模具制造相對來說是非常有利益的。自從技術問世以來,已經(jīng)在發(fā)達的制造業(yè)中得到了廣泛應用,并由此產生一個新興的技術領域。快速成型技術的優(yōu)點體現(xiàn)在它可以在沒有準備任何工裝卡具、模具和刀具的前提下,根據(jù)所給零件的形狀,快速、直接地接受產品設計的數(shù)據(jù),迅速制造出新產品的樣件、模具或模型,實現(xiàn)了立體零件的單件生產。
